At Notting Hill Gate Opticians, we understand that coming for an eye examination can be a daunting experience, in case the optometrist finds something untoward in your eyes or if you find out your vision has deteriorated. For this reason, we are here to reassure you and guide you every step of the way.

We offer both private and NHS sight tests and we don't compromise on service. Every person has their own individual visual requirements, and we will always tailor our eye examinations to you and your needs.Â
We allow 30-45minutes per eye test, so you never feel rushed and can take time to make sure you fully understand the outcome of your sight test.

We will thoroughly check the health of your eyes and our optometrists are fully trained to detect both ocular and systemic conditions including dry eye, blepharitis, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Many eye conditions can develop slowly and since they can be painless, they can often go unnoticed. Remember the sooner any problem is detected, the greater the likelihood of it being managed successfully.
